Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates + Cool Girl's Atlanta

Involvement in our community is a critical part of Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates' core mission. In the past 18 months, we have donated time and funds to several local and national charities. This year, Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates has selected one charity as our 2010 Charity of the Year. As our 2010 Charity of the Year, Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates will be raising funds for this nonprofit organization throughout the year.

We are excited to announce that our 2010 Charity of the Year is Cool Girls. Cool Girls is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the self-empowerment of girls in under resourced communities in Atlanta. Cool Girls' programs instill confidence and provide exposure to a broader world of opportunity through mentoring relationships, cultural and social experiences, health and life skills, education, and academic support. All programs are offered free of charge.

More details about our Cool Girls' fundraisers will be provided throughout the year. If you are interested in donating today, please click here. In addition, donation opportunities are available at our store at the Avenue Forsyth.

Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates + Avenue Forsyth + Project Playhouse

Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates is located in the beautiful Avenue Forsyth. We are excited to inform our readers that the Avenue Forsyth is partnering with HomeAid Atlanta to host two child-size dream homes during the sixth annual Project Playhouse 2009 showcase in September and October.

Project Playhouse is HomeAid Atlanta's annual signature fundraiser and features extraordinary playhouses designed and built by metro Atlanta’s premier architects and homebuilders. These child-size dream homes are fully furnished by professional interior designers and exhibit high quality craftsmanship and finishes. Funds raised through raffle ticket sales support HomeAid Atlanta's mission of building and maintaining dignified transitional housing where temporarily homeless children, women and men in metro Atlanta can rebuild their lives.
