StudioWed Presents - The Wedding Experience

Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates is excited to present The Wedding Experience. This luxury bridal event will be held at The Ritz Carlton, Buckhead in Atlanta and will feature vendors from StudioWed Atlanta, Asheville and Nashville. This group of bridal experts will help inspire couples to create the wedding of their dreams.

Tara Guerard will be the guest speaker at this event. Tara is a leading event designer and wedding expert. She will be on hand to sign copies of her new book, Weddings by Tara Guerard.

Cheers to a New Year!

Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates is excited about our plans for 2010. The following are a few things we have in store for the first half of 2010:

• Hiring new talent - We are excited to announce that we have hired a marketing manager and are in the process of posting another position to fill.
• Streamlining our marketing - Our 2010 primary marketing partners will be Atlanta Occasions Magazine & Studio Wed Atlanta. More details to come.....
• Creating new product offerings - Our core competency is our ability to make all of our products from scratch by hand every day. This gives us the opportunity to constantly recreate the desires of our customers. More delicious, unique desserts will be created in 2010.
• Focusing on the community - In 2010, we will dedicate our time and effort to raise funds for one charity. The charity we have selected will be announced very soon.
• Entertaining in addition to serving - We have created a calendar of upcoming events at Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates in 2010. Our goal in 2010 is to make memories by serving exceptional desserts in a fun environment. Some upcoming events includes face painting, caricature, musical bands, tours, clowns, and so much more.
• Celebrating special moments - Serving our desserts at weddings, corporate events, charity events, baby showers, mitzvahs, and birthday parties has been a truly satisfying part of 2009. In 2010, we plan to dedicate more creativity and flexibility to making these special moments magical for our clients.

We have so much in store for 2010. Thank you for making 2009 possible and we look forward to serving you in 2010.

Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates + Studio Wed Atlanta + Wedding Favors + Gelato Catering

Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates + Caramal Chocolate Apples

Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates created custom caramel apples for the Studio Wed Atlanta's Inspired Bride event. Making caramel apples from scratch is a lot harder than it looks. Creating the perfect caramel coating is tricky. We worked hard on the caramel recipe for several days. Some recipes were too hard while others were too soft, below is our perfect creation.

For the Studio Wed Atlanta's Inspired Bride event, I wanted to create a table covered in white chocolate. It has been a while since I have worked exclusively with white chocolate. As a dark chocolate lover, I had to incorporate dark chocolate into the project so I create white chocolate truffles with dark chocolate ganaches.

The Atlantan Bride was the media sponsor and Michelle Gainey of Lemiga Events was the talent behind the entire event. It was a great success.

Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates will premier our new line of couture truffles at Studio Wed Atlanta's The Inspired Bride event. Event - Studio Wed Atlanta's Wedding Planners Dessert

What I adore about Studio Wed is the constant opportunities to meet Brides/Grooms and other wedding industry experts. For this event, I wanted something different. Since everything is made from scratch onsite, I should have limitless ideas. I decided to combine two delicious delights:

Cupcakes By Le Cupcakes in Australia (I love their cupcake designs)

This new product line will feature mini gelato cakes that resemble cupcakes. For the Studio Wed event, I decided to make individual gelato cupcakes for each guest. There will be 3 different flavors: Nutella, Cookies & Cream and Strawberries & Cream. All flavors will have White Chocolate cake.


Gelato cupcakes are perfect for most celebrations (i.e. bridal showers, birthdays, baby showers, bar mitzvahs, etc). Unfortunately, we don't recommend this product for weddings.

Event: Studio Wed Social

Studio Wed & Weddings Unveiled Magazine Summer Social was a success. I met some exceptional vendors and excited brides/grooms.

The appetizers were delicious.

The white cheddar mousse on apple slices were addictive. The appetizers were courtesy of Soiree Catering.

The desserts were delicious. Sweet Sensations' treats were gone before I could indulge. I ate four of Sugarplum Visions' cupcakes (YUM!!). Finally, my 75% Dark Chocolate gelato and Strawberry sorbet were served and enjoyed.

There were so many people arriving before the event started. Which was great.

The entertainment was relaxing. Guests were enjoying the music while getting a massage and drinking a glass of wine.

This picture is a new addition to the studio. It is a phenomenal picture. I love pictures that truly displays emotions without effort. The groom's hand captures my attention (so gentle yet protective). The bride wraps her arms around him as she wonders into deep thought. This is a picture that makes it's observers think. Exceptional work by Project Duo.

Weddings Unveiled & StudioWed Summer Social

Events: International Bridal Affair 2009

Dreamy Gelato and Chocolates has been invited to participate in the International Bridal Affair 2009 by Nadira Merali owner of Envi Event Planning, Inc. Nadira personally requested Dreamy Gelato and Chocolates because she adores our custom and handmade products.

Dreamy Gelato and Chocolates will be partnering with several Studio Wed vendors (I Do Linens, Sugarplum Visions, Lemiga Events and several others) to create a gorgeous and delicious dessert table. Over 40 vendors will be participating in the International Bridal Affair.

Event: Custom Cupcakes at The Knot Event

Cupcakes are one of my childhood favorites that I continue to love as an adult. M Cupcakes made the delicious cupcakes for the Knot Event.

These cupcakes taste as good as they look.

The raspberry cupcake was my favorite.

I ate three cupcakes and wanted to pack some to go.

Events: “StudioWed Luxury Wedding Giveaway”

StudioWed Atlanta, along with CBS Atlanta and AtlantaOccasions.com, have come together to produce the wedding of a lifetime for one deserving couple. Couples will submit in 500 words or less why they deserve to win a free wedding along with a photo. The winning couple will receive a wedding valued at over $70,000 to include the venue, catering, photography, and more. The wedding will take place at the Atlanta Botanical Garden on the couple’s choice of either Sunday, January 10th or Sunday, January 24th, 2010. Pure Art: Blue World Studio

Recently, amazing photos were taken by Blue World Studio during a Studio Wed Atlanta bridal show. Exceptional pictures were taken and I wanted to feature different aspects of the design. First, I wanted to highlight pictures taken of our chocolates.

Southern Weddings Launch Party

A day or two ago, I received a call from Eliana Baucicault the owner of By Your Side Events. She was interested in getting me involved in the Southern Weddings' launch party. After discussions with Laura Eastes at SW, I was on board and excited. I will be creating custom chocolates for the event. I am not sure what I will create, but I am excited about the opportunity. I am sure a number of Atlanta's best wedding experts will be at this event. Mark your calendar!!!!!

Studio Wed Atlanta

I am excited to announce the opening of Studio Wed Atlanta. Studio Wed is an exceptional concept. The studio will be a central location for brides/grooms to meet with wedding vendors. There are numerous benefits for the brides/grooms such as having a one stop shop location to find some of the best wedding vendors. The owners of Studio Wed Atlanta are conducting detailed interviews of all potential vendors. They want to ensure they get "the best of the best".
