Vendor Spotlight: 519 Risqué Photography

I met with Meredith Wullkotte last week to discuss her upcoming launch party for her new venture, 519 Risqué: Boudoir Portraiture, an upscale boudoir photography company.

The objective of her business is to capture elegant and classy photographs of her clients. Her tagline is "Redefining Inappropriate". I believe her pictures would make the perfect gift for a groom or anniversary gift for a husband.

Event: Studio Wed Social

Studio Wed & Weddings Unveiled Magazine Summer Social was a success. I met some exceptional vendors and excited brides/grooms.

The appetizers were delicious.

The white cheddar mousse on apple slices were addictive. The appetizers were courtesy of Soiree Catering.

The desserts were delicious. Sweet Sensations' treats were gone before I could indulge. I ate four of Sugarplum Visions' cupcakes (YUM!!). Finally, my 75% Dark Chocolate gelato and Strawberry sorbet were served and enjoyed.

There were so many people arriving before the event started. Which was great.

The entertainment was relaxing. Guests were enjoying the music while getting a massage and drinking a glass of wine.

This picture is a new addition to the studio. It is a phenomenal picture. I love pictures that truly displays emotions without effort. The groom's hand captures my attention (so gentle yet protective). The bride wraps her arms around him as she wonders into deep thought. This is a picture that makes it's observers think. Exceptional work by Project Duo.

Travel: Ireland

We loved our visit to Ireland. The landscape was lush, the residents were very friendly and the history was rich. As an experienced international traveler, I have developed a strong interest in history and cultures. When I travel, I prefer to stay in local hotels and eat at "mom and pop" restaurants. I try to leave the tourist path when possible. Below are pictures of Cork, Ireland.

Beautiful sea side.

The church of Ireland. Amazing!

Breathtaking architecture.
I did kiss the stone. The legend is that if you kiss the stone, you obtain "the gift of the gab".

Lush greenery.......

.....more lush greenery....

..... and more lush greenery. I have never seen so much greenery.

While in Cork, Ireland, we discovered our love for "true hot chocolate". This inspired our hot chocolate served in our store.

Little Princess Monogram

What I enjoy most about creating treats for birthdays is the use of color. I especially like creating beautiful chocolates for little girls. The monogram for this event was created by Luxe Expression. The monogram was colorful, playful and intricate.

Flavors: Classic White Truffle and 50% Dark Caramel Truffle

Matching napkins....how cute!

The birthday cake was absolutely gorgeous. Cake by SugarPlum Visions.

The princess cake and her royal throne. So precious!

The dessert table.

The gelato cart was at this event, pictures of the gelato and cart will be posted.

Vendor Spotlight: Straw Dog

What I adore about this boutique is it's classy style mixed with trendy and flirty. They offer Ella Moss, Johnny Was, Kensie, Sang Real, and so much more. I am wearing a pair of my Sang Real at this very moment. Straw Dog's clothes are perfect for a day at the park, a night at a party or even a honeymoon stroll on a Tahitian beach.

A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to cater an event for Jezebel magazine. The VIP event was for 200 guests at The Grand Hyatt. The Script and Natasha Bedingfield provided live performances during the night and Dreamy Gelato and Chocolates provided the delicious dessert.
